FAQs

Cleaning:

AnZa White

  • Corian® Solid Surface has a non-porous surface that prevents dirt and stains from penetrating the material. Marks and stains stay on the surface and can easily be removed with a Scotchbrite® pad and household cleaner.

  • The brass tray and top plate will oxidise in contact with water /humidity. Use a brass polish to remove the oxidisation and at the same time add a layer of protective polish to the metal. To minimise oxidisation, wipe the tray and top plate dry after use

  • The wood trim on the front of the tray is treated to reduce water absorption. Wiping the wood dry after use and treating periodically with wood polish will preserve the natural beauty of the wood

AnZa Concrete

  • The concrete shell has been treated with a sealer to protect the surface. Due to its rough and porous surface the concrete will naturally develop a patina over time which will be impossible to prevent or remove. Wiping down areas of the shell which are in contact with coffee grounds and water will reduce the build up of patina.

  • The drip tray is powder coated steel. Powder-coating is tough, but can scratch, so we recommend to not use ceramic cups with unglazed bases as the ceramic can scratch the powder-coating. Glass cups are recommended.

  • The Corian@Solid Surface top plate is easily cleaned with a damp cloth or a Scotchbrite® pad and household cleaner.

General

  • The watertank can be drained by running the pump, which will drain water out through the grouphead. When the water tank is empty the inside can be cleaned with a damp cloth.

  • It is recommended to drain the water tank after using the machine and using fresh water everytime you pull a shot

  • The grouped should be cleaned by backflushing every 100 espresso shots.

  • See the instruction manual supplied with the machine for details on backflushing
