my Previous machine was a sage Barista and I was craving something that was a little more of a manual experience. The Anza is perfect in its minimalism that you really have to dial the machine in to how you like it and I love that process. The design is ofcourse a big factor, it looks beautiful in our kitchen and literally doubles up as a piece of usable art.

Fill the water tank

The R2 features a removable glass water tank, making it super easy to fill and clean. Prefer less risk? You can also top it up once it’s mounted in place.

Switch it on

Flip the switch at the back and watch the front light gently pulse to life. The machine is now awake.

Prep your shot

Grind your beans, lock in the portafilter, place your cup, and hit the espresso switch. You’re in control.

Steam Mode

This is the part people overthink… but it’s actually the most fun. Hit the steam switch and listen for the signature double hum as it kicks in.
